Uusi sivu

This is a section for designing warships. They are modified rules from Mongoose Traveller (2024 update), and High guard (2022 update). At the start of the game, the TL of Earth is 9, which limits the starship design quite a lot. More options become available while technology advances to imperial (TL 11) levels and even beyond.

= Starship weapons =

Most of the starship weapons are (in traditional Traveller rules) either large bays (for capital ships) or medium bays for escorts, remember that escorts in fleet combat are usually grouped into squadrons of four or five, so the damage is about the same.

At TL 10 railgun and mass drivers can be installed to a spinal mount. At TL 11 particle beams can.

Weapons have a dice code, each die that rolls more than the target's armor or agility (whichever is higher), they do one point of damage. If the die roll is a maximum, and roll is above the agility of the target, it does critical hit, which means one automatic point of damage.

== Beam weapons ==

Beam weapons are lasers, and early particle beam weapons that can fire at medium ranges. Each weapon attacks with d10. If the target has sandcasters, its sandcaster score is added to its armor against beam weapons.

== Mass Drivers ==

Mass drivers are used as ortillery, they attack targets on planetside. Each bay can give 1d8 support fire to a battalion in ground combat.

== Railguns ==

Each railgun bay rolls d8 for damage.

== Missiles ==

== Spinal mounts ==

Spinal mounts are huge constructs that take up most of the capital ship's mass. They are too large to be mounted on escort hulls.
